Le Germain c’est le nouveau resto pop et coloré de St Germain-des-Près. Sol en damier, fauteuil confortable, giga statue jaune et billard écarlate, ici, l’architecte-designer India Mahdavi c’est fait plaisir avec un feu d’artifice déco ! Un lieu qu’on doit à nouveau au groupe Costes !

Deux étages pour deux ambiances… Au rez-de-chaussée une décoration typée année 70, vieux bistrots chics. A l’étage des couleurs plus funky, dont les murs de l’escalier donnent immédiatement le ton, avec ce bleu si particulier que l’architecte a fait repeindre trois fois avant de trouver la bonne tonalité…

Côté assiette, fish & chips, spaghetti bolo et banana split…délicieusement régressif !

Très bon article. Je parlais de ce restaurant à un ami, plus facile de montrer l’ambiance avec quelques photos ! Il m’a alors invité !! Merci le Rendez-Vous Design pour ce déjeuner….
